18 Alerts in Two Days

From August 8 to 10, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 18 alerts regarding snakes spotted in various regions of the republic. Specifically, reports came from Yerevan, Abovyan, Aparan, Ashtarak, Gyumri, Kapan, Yeghegnadzor, Hrazdan, and Ijevan, as well as the villages of Hermon and Azatana.

Rescue teams that arrived at the locations conducted assessments, resulting in the discovery of one lortur species reptile, three toads, three salamanders, three grass snakes, and 21 sphenophis species snakes, which were then relocated to a safe area.
