VIDEO: 'Blockade in Response to Blockade' – Cypriot Armenians Blocked Bus Carrying Azerbaijani Footballers

Representatives of the Armenian community in Cyprus held a protest in the capital, Nicosia, in support of Artsakh. According to 'Ardzagank Media', a group of Armenians organized a demonstration against the political crisis in Artsakh and the ongoing blockade imposed by Azerbaijan for nearly eight months.

It was reported that Azerbaijan’s 'Gabala' football team was scheduled to compete against Cyprus' 'Omonia'. With the slogan 'Blockade in Response to Blockade', after the match, 50 volunteers blocked the entrance of the goal from where the Azerbaijani bus was to depart. After holding them in blockade for about an hour, the Armenians allowed the Azerbaijanis to leave.
