VIDEO: Night Heats Up in Tel Aviv
The night in Tel Aviv has once again heated up. Thousands of protesters organized demonstrations against judicial system reforms. This is reported by The Times of Israel.
The protesters marched towards the building of the lower court, led by former Israeli ministers of justice and a former Supreme Court judge.
The Times of Israel also reports that protests are taking place not only in Tel Aviv but also in nearby cities such as Raanana, Kfar Saba, and Hod HaSharon.
The wave of protests continues following last week's approval by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government of the first bill on judicial reforms. "You are destroying the country, and we will fix it. Democracy!" chanted the protesters.
It is noteworthy that protests against judicial reforms have been ongoing in Israel for 30 weeks now.
