Russian Pilots Conduct Complex Flights in Armenian Skies

In Armenia, pilots of the MiG-29 multi-role fighters from the Russian Southern Military District (SMD) have performed complex and high-level flight maneuvers as part of training exercises. This information was reported by the SMD press service.

According to the announcement, the pilots conducted flights at various altitudes during both daytime and nighttime. The training flights were carried out individually, in pairs, in formations, and with squadrons in the skies over the Erebuni airbase.

“Special attention was paid to the training of young pilots, who studied the combat and maneuverability capabilities of the aircraft using satellite navigation systems,” the report stated.

More than 120 servicemen from the Russian Southern Military District in Armenia participated in the training flights, utilizing around 20 units of military and special equipment, including the MiG-29 multi-role fighters.
