Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Open Fire on Civilian Agricultural Workers in Artsakh
The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh has released a statement indicating that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense is attempting to justify violations of the ceasefire regime recorded on August 12 by spreading two pieces of disinformation throughout the day. This move aims to divert international attention from the humanitarian disaster created in the Republic of Artsakh due to the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor.
According to the report, Azerbaijani units opened fire early on the morning of August 12 at infrastructure equipment of the Republic of Artsakh's communication systems. Around 2:15 PM, they targeted civilian individuals engaged in agricultural work in the fields of the Sarushen community. Fortunately, there were no casualties resulting from the ceasefire violation.
