Soldier Sustains Fatal Gunshot Wound, MoD Reports

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports that on August 10, in still unknown circumstances, soldier Zhora Zohrapi Karapetyan of the Ministry's military unit N received a fatal gunshot wound.

Despite the efforts of the medical team, it was not possible to save the soldier’s life.

An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The Ministry of Defense extends its condolences and support to the soldier's family, relatives, and fellow servicemen.
