Germany Again Opposes Supplying Ukraine with Taurus Long-Range Cruise Missiles
Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has once again expressed opposition to supplying Ukraine with Taurus long-range cruise missiles. This was reported by News.ru, citing TASS.
At the same time, he did not rule out that Berlin could provide the necessary weapons to Kyiv in the future. “We continue to maintain that at this moment, this is not our top priority. We are not the only ones not supplying weapons to Ukraine. Our American partners are also not providing these missiles,” Pistorius stated.
Previously, Pistorius had indicated that Germany does not intend to supply Ukraine with cruise missiles. He noted that Germany continues to be one of the main suppliers of weapons to Kyiv. The minister highlighted that Ukraine's air defense would be “impossible” without Germany's assistance.
In Germany, Russia's ambassador Sergey Nechayev stated that by continuing to provide military assistance to Ukraine, Germany has already crossed red lines multiple times.
