Aliyev Hopes for Quick Results with Armenia
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, expressed his country's determination to continue the peace process with Armenia during a meeting with Luis Bono, the senior advisor for South Caucasus negotiations at the U.S. State Department.
Aliyev expressed hope that results would be achieved soon in the key areas discussed during the negotiations.
According to Azerbaijani media, the parties discussed the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the negotiation process concerning the peace treaty during the meeting held in Baku.
During the meeting, the President of Azerbaijan continued to exchange ideas on the issues raised in a recent phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
