I Will Participate in the City Council Elections: Hovhannes Azoyan

Actor Hovhannes Azoyan will participate in the City Council elections in Yerevan set for September 17. The information was confirmed by Azoyan himself in an interview with Oragir.News.

"Yes, I will participate, but I do not wish to give an interview over the phone," said the actor.

When asked if a video interview could be conducted, Azoyan responded negatively, stating, "In these two days, I will shoot a video where all the answers to the questions will be provided."

According to circulating media reports, Hovhannes Azoyan will run on the list of Tigran Khzmalyan's "European Party of Armenia." It is also worth mentioning that Azoyan had an active role in the 2018 "revolution," but recently in one of his interviews, he expressed disappointment with the current authorities.
