VIDEO: Azerbaijani State Public Television Presents Lake Sevan as ' Azerbaijani Territory'
Azerbaijan's state public television, Az.TV, in one of its broadcasts, presents Lake Sevan as ' Azerbaijani territory.' The report states, 'Let’s travel to Western Azerbaijan, our historical lands.' This was noted by Armenian studies expert Tatevik Hayrapetyan.
'I am sharing this to once again convince you that one should not have illusions and believe in the false thesis of “giving up Artsakh will secure Armenia,”' she wrote. 'The surrender of Artsakh will only accelerate the process of attack against Armenia. This narrative is being promoted at the state level in Azerbaijan.'
Hayrapetyan reminded that on December 24 of last year, the dictator of Baku stated in his speech, 'Armenia has never existed in this region. Present-day Armenia is our territory.'
She also added, 'This is everything that Nikol Pashinyan has received in return for recognizing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, as well as for endangering the routes connecting Armenia to Georgia and Iran.'
