Luis Bono to Visit the Region Again

This week, Luis Bono, the senior advisor on Caucasus negotiations, will visit the region. The U.S. Embassy has informed 'Azatutyun' that Bono will discuss U.S. support for the peace process in Yerevan and the best ways to achieve lasting and dignified peace.

“We have consistently asserted that establishing peace in the region must include ensuring the rights and security of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh. We are ready to support any process that will bring peace and stability to the people of the South Caucasus,” stated the U.S. Embassy.

It is noteworthy that Luis Bono was also in the region in May, where he addressed Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement issues in Baku and Yerevan.
