Photos: Fallen Trees, Torn Advertisements, and Roof Covers—Wind Damage
On July 30, starting at 19:33, the National Crisis Management Center received reports that wind had caused fallen trees, loosened and torn advertisement boards, antennas, roof covers, sheets, poles, and columns in various administrative districts of Yerevan.
This information comes from the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
A rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Rescue Service, along with combat units from the firefighting and rescue department of Yerevan, have been dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers are carrying out reinforcement, dismantling, area delineation, and cutting of fallen trees.
