Medvedev States Conditions Under Which Russia Would Use Nuclear Weapons

The Russian Armed Forces are not only continuing to repel counterattacks but are also preventing a global conflict, as Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev stated, mentioning that Russia may be forced to use nuclear weapons due to the rejection of a part of its territory.

According to the political figure, the RF Armed Forces continue to protect Russians and the country's land. "This is apparent to all decent people. But in addition to that, they are preventing a global conflict," Medvedev emphasized.

As noted by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, in the event of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces supported by the North Atlantic Alliance, and the exclusion of the territory of the Russian Federation, Moscow will have to resort to that decree from June 2, 2020, of the President of the Russian Federation. This pertains to the country's nuclear doctrine and the possibility of using nuclear weapons.

"Therefore, our enemies should pray for our fighters. They are preventing global nuclear fire from breaking out," Medvedev clarified.
