Bus Falls from Bridge in Turkey's Kars Province; Casualties Reported

A passenger bus has fallen from a bridge in Turkey's Kars Province, resulting in the death of 7 people and injuring at least 22 others, reports RIA Novosti.

The bus was transporting passengers from Bursa to Kars when it fell into a gorge from a bridge 50 meters high in the Karakurt village area. The causes of the incident are currently under investigation. One severely injured passenger has been hospitalized in Erzurum.

It is noteworthy that another bus accident occurred in Turkey today. A minibus carrying tourists from Kazakhstan was involved in an accident at the Alanya resort, injuring 12 people and resulting in 2 fatalities.
