Another Publication by Azerbaijani Media is a Classic Example of Hate Speech: Spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry
The spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Ani Badalyan, has addressed an anti-Armenian and anti-Semitic publication from one of the Azerbaijani media outlets.
“Another publication disseminated by the so-called 'Azerbaijani media,' which corresponds to the classic definition of hate speech, is also filled with anti-Armenian propaganda. Such blatant encouragement of hatred, coupled with actions taking place on the ground, as well as the complete blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh, has long-lasting effects on the region and beyond,” Badalyan wrote on Twitter.
She also shared a post from “Stop Antisemitism,” an American independent nonprofit organization combating anti-Semitism. The post addressed an article published in Azerbaijan, titled, “Hitler is more humane than any Armenian leader in history.”
“Stop Antisemitism is horrified to see that an Azerbaijani newspaper is publishing this. Adolf Hitler killed 6 million Jews and 5 million others. The word 'humane' and his name cannot be used in the same sentence,” the organization wrote on Twitter.
