Video: Trucks Have Been Waiting for 20 Hours in the Kornidzor Area, No Movement Yet - Vardan Sargsyan
A total of 19 trucks carrying 400 tons of humanitarian aid from Armenia to Artsakh have been waiting for 20 hours in the Kornidzor area, with no movement thus far. This was stated by Vardan Sargsyan, a representative of the Artsakh humanitarian crisis management working group, during a conversation with journalists today, July 27.
“The process requires understanding, patience, and a certain sequence of steps. We have contacted the Russian peacekeepers and the relevant channels to Azerbaijan but have not yet received any response. We can say that it is a stone silence,” he noted.
According to Vardan Sargsyan, contact has been established with Russian peacekeeping forces regarding the delivery of the cargo. For its part, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan has issued a statement indicating, “According to the received information, on July 26, various vehicle accumulations near the entrance to the Lachin State Border Checkpoint organized by Armenia are planned to provoke another provocative action.”
It is noteworthy that on July 26, 19 trucks filled with essential food and goods were sent to Kornidzor, where, with the escort of Russian peacekeepers, 400 tons of humanitarian aid is expected to be delivered to the Armenian population in Artsakh. The humanitarian aid is being sent to the blockaded Artsakh within the framework of a state program.
