The activities of the EU observer mission in Armenia represent a geopolitical confrontation with Russia. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Zakharova also noted that the presence of Canadians in Armenia clearly confirms that the EU, which has completely lost its foreign policy independence, is serving the interests of the USA and NATO.

“This further confirms that one of the main mechanisms for de-escalation should be the work of the bilateral commission for border delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” she said.
