Concerns Emerge in Artsakh About Potential Unwanted Developments

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: 'Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan has convened an extraordinary session of the National Assembly today to make amendments to the law on martial law. Inspired by the example of Armenia, they have decided to implement a temporary suspension (blocking) of internet websites and social networks during martial law in Artsakh, as well as partial or complete restrictions on internet access.

Moreover, there will be limitations on the content disseminated through television, the internet, and radio. It is also proposed to manage the property of citizens who are absent from Artsakh. Additionally, the appointment of heads of elective bodies such as the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) and the High Commission for Telecommunications (HCTC) will be conducted by the president. There are suspicions in Artsakh that unwanted developments are expected in the near future.'

Details in the newspaper's current issue.
