Blogger Who Advertised Bookmakers Sentenced to Death in Iran

The Tehran tribunal has sentenced blogger Milan Hatami to death by hanging for promoting bookmakers and a gambling campaign. This was reported by "Рейтинг Букмекеров."

Hatami was arrested in Turkey in 2021 at the request of Interpol, where he had been hiding from justice. The blogger is accused of fraud; Milan claimed he earned significant money through gambling and collaborations on gambling campaigns.

Hatami's trial lasted two years. Four months have passed since the announcement of the guilty verdict, therefore it may now be executed.
