Trucks to Remain at Kornidzor Border Until Response from Russian Peacekeepers: Vardan Sargsyan

Trucks carrying humanitarian cargo heading to Nagorno-Karabakh have been at the Kornidzor border area for 15-20 minutes. What is the next step?

In response to a question from News, Vardan Sargsyan, a representative of the working group managing the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, stated: “We have established contact with representatives of the Russian peacekeeping forces and are currently waiting for a response. Considering that this process requires additional understanding, I believe it is important to exercise some patience. We are in the phase of waiting for further clarifications.”

Sargsyan indicated that the trucks will remain in their current location until they receive some form of answer regarding the next steps. They have already approached the peacekeepers to facilitate the transfer of humanitarian cargo to Nagorno-Karabakh.

When asked if the peacekeepers are unwilling to mediate or if there are any signals indicating otherwise, Sargsyan replied, “I cannot provide information; we are waiting for a response.”
