Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office Reports Detention of 68-Year-Old Vagif Khachatryan

Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office has announced the detention of 68-year-old Vagif Khachatryan.

According to the statement, he is accused of establishing a "criminal group" allegedly involved in the crimes committed against Azerbaijanis in the village of Meshali in the Khojaly region on December 21, 1991.

Baku has assured that the man will be provided with necessary medical assistance and conditions for representatives of the ICRC to visit him.
