Newborn Found in Plastic Bag Dies in Hospital

A newborn baby found near a chapel in the 'Saint Tomb' neighborhood of Nerqin Getashen village in Gegharkunik province has died at the Muratsan Medical Center in Yerevan. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the news outlet, the child was transferred to Muratsan Hospital under the supervision of emergency responders from Martuni Medical Center, and the doctors at Muratsan fought for several hours to save the baby's life.

Earlier, it was reported that on July 22 at around 11:50 AM, operational information was received at the Martuni division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, indicating that there was a newborn baby near the chapel in the 'Saint Tomb' neighborhood of Nerqin Getashen village.
