Structures Damaged Due to Strong Winds in Yerevan

On July 25, from 18:40 to 21:40, the Crisis Management Centers of the National Emergency Situations Service, Kotayk and Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Departments received reports that due to strong winds, buildings in the Center and Erebuni administrative districts of Yerevan, as well as in the city of Abovyan and the village of Aghavnadzor, suffered damage to metal roofing and fallen trees.

This information was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

Fire and rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Service of Yerevan and regional rescue departments were dispatched to the scene. Rescuers carried out work on cutting fallen trees, securing metal sheets, and dismantling damaged structures.
