Repeated Offender Found Hanging in Garage

On July 26, a tragic incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 5:00 PM, operational information was received by the Police Department of the Armavir region and the Vagharshapat division of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding a body found in one of the houses on Araratyan Street in Ejmiadzin.

According to Shamshyan, police and investigators discovered the body of 46-year-old Arshavir A. hanging from the ceiling in the garage located at house number 43 on the mentioned street, using a rubber rope. The preliminary conclusion from the forensic expert indicated that no signs of violence were found on the body upon external examination.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Vagharshapat investigative division concerning the incident. A forensic examination of the body has been commissioned by the investigator.

According to sources, Arshavir A. had returned to Armenia from the Russian Federation weeks ago and had previously been convicted multiple times for various crimes.
