Turkey Extends a Helping Hand to Greece as Aerial Firefighting Efforts Continue
The Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry reports that firefighting operations by the air crew sent to assist Greece are ongoing. According to Ermenihaber.am, a total of 138 flights were conducted over the course of two days, utilizing 414 tons of water.
Additionally, the Consulate in Rhodes announced that two Turkish firefighting aircraft completed 88 flights on Monday, lasting 15 hours and 50 minutes in total, while consuming 264 tons of water.
