Lavrov Addresses Mirzoyan and Bayramov with Call

We support the full and mutual respect and implementation of all trilateral agreements (1, 2, 3, 4). This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, in his opening remarks at the trilateral meeting.

Lavrov noted that Russia is fully committed to peace and stability in the South Caucasus. “By mutual agreement (which, as I understand, has been confirmed), we will continue our efforts aimed at stabilizing the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, addressing humanitarian issues, unblocking economic and transport communications, as well as developing people-to-people contacts through civil society, scholars, and parliamentarians,” said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“Today, I would like to invite you to exchange thoughts on where the negotiation process stands regarding the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We are ready to assist in coordinating this process in every possible way, utilizing our expertise and good relations with our friends represented here,” Lavrov emphasized.

In conclusion, the Russian Foreign Minister stated, “We expect to discuss all these issues in a pragmatic and constructive atmosphere.”
