Four Scenarios for the Development of Events, According to Davit Babayan
The former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh and now an advisor to the president, Davit Babayan, sees four scenarios for the development of events in the current situation. He mentioned this in an interview with NEWS.am.
“We have four options. One is to maintain the status quo, which we see is difficult: Azerbaijan does not want that, and various internal and external forces are accelerating the processes. The second is to be part of Azerbaijan, which would result in concentration camps and genocide. The third is war, the outcome of which is uncertain, possibly leading to genocide. The fourth is to exit in a manly and dignified manner, without endangering our genetic pool, and without selling our homeland,” stated Babayan.
According to him, whoever is responsible for the current situation in Artsakh will face punishment in the future—whether an individual, a state, or an organization.
