Supplementary Admission Phase for Universities Starts in Armenia

The process for registering for the supplementary competition commenced on July 19. Candidates who were not successful in the main phase for a single specialty but have positive scores can participate in the supplementary competition. The deadline for registration for this supplementary phase is July 26. Examination results will be announced on July 30.

It is noteworthy that this year, 13,314 individuals applied to universities. Out of those, 10,966 candidates took the unified exam. The number of accepted students in this phase reached 9,147. A total of 2,128 places were allocated for free tuition, with 1,782 accepted. The number of paid places is 15,984, with 7,242 candidates admitted.

Specifically, placements in the fields of natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering were offered with the provision of deferral from military service. Given the provided incentives, there have been new enrollments in those fields.
