Factor.am reports that a group of citizens from Artsakh are trying to reach the Hakari Bridge for the purpose of returning to Artsakh. They have reached the last Armenian checkpoint, after which the area falls under the control of Russian peacekeepers. The Factor TV film crew is currently near the last Armenian checkpoint in the village of Kornidzor in the Syunik region, where for about five hours, the residents of Artsakh have been unable to proceed.

They have been waiting for several hours at the checkpoint for Russian peacekeepers to approach them. Representatives of Armenia's law enforcement agencies report that entry to that area is only possible with the presence of Russian forces. Margarita Karamyam, one of the citizens heading to Artsakh, told Factor TV that they aim to show the international community that Aliyev's statements about the Lachin Corridor being open are not true.

It should be noted that in the area where the residents of Artsakh are waiting, mobile communication is almost non-existent, which is why Factor TV is unable to provide a live broadcast.

Recall that the only corridor connecting Armenia and Artsakh has been closed for more than seven months, and humanitarian cargo has also been blocked for over a month, resulting in a severe shortage of food, fuel, and other essential goods in Artsakh.

Update: The citizens attempting to reach Artsakh were unable to make it to Stepanakert. Margarita Karamyam stated that she tried to contact the Russian peacekeepers, but they did not respond in any way. The citizens of Artsakh are now returning to Kornidzor.
