Pashinyan on the Likelihood of New Armed Conflict with Azerbaijan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, spoke to AFP about the possibility of new armed conflict with Azerbaijan.
According to him, this likelihood will persist as long as the parliaments of both states have not signed and ratified a peace agreement.
“As long as the peace agreement has not been signed and ratified by the parliaments of both countries, of course, war is very likely,” he stated.
Earlier, it was reported that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev agreed to intensify efforts to resolve issues discussed during negotiations in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
