At this stage, we have envisioned the struggle this way; we decided to fight in this format. If this does not yield results, we will move on to the next step, because yes, we have some success internationally, but humanitarian-wise, we are in a very dire situation.

This was stated today, on July 20, during a meeting with Artsakh residents by the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, in response to a question about why he chose the path of a sit-in.

"This sit-in does not interfere with the normal functioning of state institutions, which is particularly necessary today. Each state structure is trying to do its best in its place today," he added.
