Details Emerge about the Man Who Killed 20-Year-Old Karen in Gyumri

In Gyumri, the man who took the life of 20-year-old Karen, named Mher, had previously committed murder by stabbing another person. This information was reported by the deceased's sister in an interview with ArmLur.am.

The slain 20-year-old, Karen, had heroically fought in September 2022, when the enemy invaded Armenian territory, managing to survive the battles. However, shortly after that, a person with health issues deprived him of his life.

In her conversation with ArmLur.am, Karen's sister, Sara (name changed for respectful reasons), provided more details regarding the tragic incident. According to her, her brother had gone to a bar with two friends, where they stayed for an hour. "My brother, Karen, wasn’t even drunk; it was just Vardavar (a holiday in Armenia), and he had gone to the bar with his friends. He had celebrated with the army just 10 days prior. The taxi driver was the son of one of my brother's friends' uncles, who took them to the bar and had agreed to take them back to the village later. They called the taxi driver again, and he said it wasn’t a good time for him to come back for them. My brother and his two friends decided to walk until the taxi driver arrived. They called the driver again on the way down, asking where he was, and that was the last thing that occurred," she recounted.

When asked whether there were any insults directed at the taxi driver, she replied.
