Brawl at 'Jrashkharj': Participants Identified as Four Iranians

On July 18, a brawl occurred in Yerevan. The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received reports of a fight at the 'Jrashkharj' resort located at 40 Myasnikyan Avenue. According to Shamshyan.com, an operational group from the New Nork Police Department arrived at the scene, led by the head of the Criminal Investigation Department.

At the location, police determined that around 4:00 PM on that same day, 17-year-old Ashot H. reprimanded four individuals, who are foreigners, for violating the rules of the water slide.

Authorities identified the suspects as citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran: 36-year-old Omid P., 30-year-old Farzad R., 38-year-old Omid A., and 38-year-old Mohdimin P. However, they displayed disrespectful behavior towards the public, severely violated public order, and physically assaulted Ashot H. and 19-year-old lifeguard Erik S.

Immediately on-site, New Nork police officers and patrol units from the 1st squadron of the 3rd battalion of the Yerevan Patrol Service arrested the Iranians for suspected hooliganism and transported them to the New Nork Police Department. The individuals were then presented to the investigative division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia for the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts, where an investigation into the incident was initiated.
