59-Year-Old World’s Most Notorious Cybercriminal Kevin Mitnick Passes Away

Kevin Mitnick, the renowned cybersecurity researcher and one of the world's most famous hackers, has passed away at the age of 59. Once regarded as one of the most wanted cybercriminals in the United States, Mitnick’s death was confirmed by representatives of his founded companies. This news was reported by Securityweek.com.

Mitnick died in Las Vegas, with the cause being pancreatic cancer. In his final years, he was receiving treatment at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The illness had been diagnosed last year.

It has been reported that Mitnick will be buried at the King David Cemetery in Las Vegas. The publication also notes that a new child is soon to be born to the couple.
