Extraordinary Incident in Yerevan: Route 51 Bus Moves by Itself

On July 17, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 21:10, in the Davitashen administrative district, in front of the address at Agababyan Street 20/7, a Zhongtong bus serving route 51 was parked in a designated area when the driver exited the bus and noticed that the vehicle was moving forward on its own.

This was reported by Shamshyan.com. The report states that the driver, in an attempt to stop the bus, picked up a stone to place it under the bus's wheel; however, the wheel pressed down on the stone, pinching the driver’s finger as a result.

With the help of bystanders, the driver was transported to the “Armenia” Medical Center. The bus's forward movement led it to collide with a parked Mercedes CLS vehicle in the permissible area. No passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident.
