Zelensky's Representative Discusses Plans for the Deportation of Up to 800,000 Russians From Crimea

In the event of Crimea's return, Ukraine plans to deport up to 800,000 Russians. This was stated by Tamila Tashaeva, the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea.

“Since 2014, up to 800,000 Russians have moved to Crimea. All those Russians who entered will be subjected to ‘forced deportation’,” Tashaeva said.

She also noted that Kyiv will “not punish those whom it considers victims of occupation,” but the authorities intend to “hold accountable” up to 10,000 individuals.
