YSU Clarification on the Dismissal of Gevorg Petrosyan

“Gevorg Petrosyan has been properly notified regarding his dismissal.” This was stated by the spokesperson of Yerevan State University (YSU), Knar Misakyan, in an interview with Aysor.am.

“Gevorg Petrosyan worked as a lecturer at YSU on a part-time basis. A proper notice regarding his dismissal was sent to his university email on June 19,” said Misakyan.

When asked about the reason, considering that Petrosyan is also an associate professor of labor law, Misakyan responded, “The department made that decision.”

It is worth mentioning that former MP Gevorg Petrosyan announced today on his Facebook page that he has been dismissed from YSU.
