Armenian Parliament Members Go on Vacation

The members of the National Assembly of Armenia will be on vacation starting today and will return at various times until September 1. This information was reported by the press service of the National Assembly of Armenia.

According to the "Regulations of the National Assembly," the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, will be on his annual vacation from July 17 to July 31, 2023, inclusive.

In his directive, he noted that during his absence, from July 17 to July 23, the duties of the President of the National Assembly will be temporarily carried out by Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan. Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan will take on the responsibilities of the President of the National Assembly temporarily from July 24 to July 31.

Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan has also signed a directive, according to which the members of the National Assembly are granted their annual leave from July 17 to August 25, inclusive.

Ruben Rubinyan will be on vacation from July 24 to August 4 and again from August 9 to September 1. Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan will be granted a portion of his annual leave from August 1 to September 1.
