Young Man Stole Aluminum Decorations from Lusaghbyur Village Cemetery and Sold Them

On June 27, a man who approached the Ani police department reported that aluminum decorations attached to the metal fence of his parents' grave in the Lusaghbyur village cemetery had been stolen, causing damage of approximately 300,000 AMD.

As a result of measures taken by the officers of the Ani department, it was established that the theft was committed by a 29-year-old resident of Kamo village in the Shirak province. The stolen goods were transported using a "GAZ-2705-222" truck operated by the suspect.

On July 14, he was summoned to the Ani department, confessed to the crime, and stated that he had sold the stolen items in Yerevan to an unknown person. The 29-year-old suspect and the compiled documents have been submitted to the investigative body.
