Seven Dead Due to Heavy Rainfall in South Korea
The death toll in South Korea due to heavy rain has reached seven. This information has been reported by the Yonhap news agency. The Central Headquarters for Disaster Management and Security has also stated that three people are missing and an additional seven have been injured, according to the agency.
Moreover, around 6,400 residents in the central region near Goseong have been evacuated due to erosion caused by the Goseong dam as a result of the rainfall. A total of 97 roads have been closed, and both express and regular train services connecting the central regions with other areas have been suspended.
