Vitaly Balasanyan and His Son Detained, Reports Say
A short while ago, Artsakh hero and former Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Artsakh, Vitaly Balasanyan, and his son were detained in Artsakh. This was reported by media outlets, citing Hayeli.am.
“It is evident that Artsakh hero Balasanyan was obstructing the implementation of the plans of the trio consisting of Araik Harutyunyan, Nikol Pashinyan, and Ilham Aliyev,” the website stated.
It is noteworthy that the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade of Artsakh for over six months, which has now been exacerbated by complete isolation, has resulted in an extreme humanitarian crisis.
The 120,000 residents of Artsakh, including 30,000 children, are living under conditions of severe shortages of food, baby formula, medication, gasoline and diesel fuel, as well as gas supply interruptions and rolling blackouts, facing the risk of starvation.
