VIDEO. The Blockade of the Lachin Corridor is Due to Actions of Azerbaijani State Structures - Prime Minister

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, addressed the blockade of the Lachin Corridor during a cabinet meeting, stating that it occurred solely due to the actions of Azerbaijani state structures.

According to him, the Azerbaijani 'environmental activism' continues, and now they are trying to present Armenia with environmental accusations at both official and unofficial levels.

"Azerbaijan attributes to Armenia mineral deposits that simply do not exist, raises issues that are fictional, points to decisions that pertain to something entirely different, and mentions conventions that are not relevant," emphasized Pashinyan, adding that state and private organizations in Armenia demonstrate the fictitious nature of these accusations.

Pashinyan also spoke about the decision of the International Court of Justice regarding the blockade of the Lachin Corridor, noting that it provides an opportunity for greater international consolidation to counter the policy of ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh.
