Relocate Beehives: Chemical Control Measures Planned in Several Communities

The Ministry of Economy of Armenia plans to implement aerial chemical control measures against locusts from July 14 to 16, 2023, in the vicinity of the village of Yeghipatrush in the Aragatsotn Province and the areas around Tsaghkavank, as well as in the territory of Tsaghkadzor in the Kotayk Province, covering a total area of approximately 1,400 hectares.

It is advised to relocate beehives at least 3-5 kilometers away from the specified areas, and to avoid gathering mushrooms, plants, and berries, as well as grazing agricultural animals in nearby pastures for the next 20 days. Tourists are also recommended to exercise heightened caution during these dates.
