United Kingdom to Provide Additional $65 Million Aid to Ukraine
The UK government will provide nearly $65 million in new aid to Ukraine for the repair of military equipment and the establishment of a rehabilitation center. This is reported by Reuters.
As part of the package, the details of which will be discussed at the NATO summit in Vilnius, the UK and the G7 countries will also supply an additional thousand rounds of ammunition for British Challenger 2 tanks.
The funding will be provided under NATO's comprehensive aid package for Ukraine and will be supported by recovery specialists from all Alliance member countries, according to a statement from the British government.
All G7 members are expected to sign a joint declaration. The document will outline how allies will support Ukraine in the coming years.
