Biden Could End the War in 5 Minutes, Says Zelensky, Responding to Trump
U.S. President Joe Biden could end the war in Ukraine in five minutes if it meant surrendering Ukrainian territories; however, Kyiv is not willing to agree to that. This statement was made by Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Zelensky commented on former U.S. President Donald Trump's assertion that "if elected president again, Trump could stop the military operations within 24 hours."
"The desire to end the war is a noble one. But this desire should be based on real-life experience. Well, it seems that Donald Trump has already had that 24 hours. We (Russia and Ukraine) were at war, not on a large scale, but we were at war, and I assume that Trump had that time, but he probably had other priorities," said Zelensky.
"If we are talking about stopping the war at the cost of Ukraine, in other words, forcing us to concede our territories, then I think Biden could indeed bring it to an end even in five minutes. But we would not agree," Zelensky added.
