We Presented the Demands of the Participants of the Nationwide Movement Started in Artsakh to Lentsov: Gurgen Nersisyan
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Gurgen Nersisyan, wrote on his Facebook page that today he met with Russian peacekeeping forces commander Alexander Lentsov and other representatives, along with several officials. He notably stated:
“Today we met with Alexander Lentsov, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, with the participation of the Republic of Artsakh’s Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan, Minister of Internal Affairs Karen Sargsyan, and the head of the National Assembly's 'Free Homeland-KD' faction, Arthur Harutyunyan. We presented to A. Lentsov the current situation in Artsakh and the demands of the participants in the nationwide movement that has commenced in Artsakh. A. Lentsov reported that he regularly conveys information about the situation to Moscow and acknowledged the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, which is deepening every minute, and that the road connecting Artsakh to Armenia is blocked, violating the 6th point of the trilateral statement. A. Lentsov assured us that information regarding the developments in the situation will henceforth be continually communicated to his superiors, and efforts will be made to address the arising issues.”
