More Than 300 People Missing in the Atlantic Ocean
Three boats filled with refugees have disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean. Reports indicate that the vessels were heading from Senegal towards the Canary Islands. This information was shared by the Reuters news agency, citing a representative of the non-governmental organization Caminando Fronteras, which assists migrants traveling to Europe.
Elena Maleno clarified that two boats disappeared 15 days ago. One of the boats had about 65 people onboard, while the other had between 50 and 60 people. The third boat, carrying around 200 people, departed from Senegal on June 27. There has been no contact from it either.
