Fire in a Residential Apartment in Sisian: One Injured

A fire broke out in one of the apartments on Yotoran Street, Building No. 2, in Sisian, Syunik Province, leaving one individual injured. This information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

According to the report, the Syunik regional emergency management center received the alert at 19:18. "Three firefighting units from the regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene," the report stated.

As a result of the fire, the health condition of a 64-year-old resident, identified as V. A., deteriorated. He has been hospitalized at the Sisian Medical Center. Doctors have stated that the injured individual's health condition is satisfactory.

The rescue service reported that the fire was contained by 19:53 and extinguished by 20:13. The kitchen, balcony, and furnishings in the living room of the apartment were damaged in the blaze.
