Photos: What Happened on Komitas Avenue – Details of the Explosion
On July 3, at 22:10, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of an explosion in a garage located at 54/1 Komitas Avenue in Yerevan. There are casualties. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
Two firefighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department, emergency operations groups from the Rescue Forces Department, and a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Department have arrived at the scene.
According to preliminary data, a 20 kg gas cylinder exploded in the garage, resulting in the collapse of two stone garages and leaving one person injured.
The rescuers transported the injured individual (H.G., born in 1945) on a stretcher to the ambulance, and he was hospitalized at the National Burn Center.
