Washington Aims to Prolong War in Ukraine: Iranian Foreign Ministry
The U.S. decision to supply Ukraine with cluster munitions reflects Washington's desire to complicate and prolong the war, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry. This was reported by the Iranian news agency IRNA, citing the words of Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani.
Nasser Kanaani described this transaction as another example of the destabilizing actions by the United States, as well as arms exports that contribute to further killings and devastation.
It is noteworthy that on July 7, Jake Sullivan, the U.S. national security adviser, announced that the U.S. had decided to transfer cluster munitions to Ukraine, which the UN opposes.
